The E & C Services division of the Douglas & Lomason Company was established in 1979 with the initial intent of recovering the phosphate value of co-product 35% phosphoric acid from aluminum anodizing. Trisodium phosphate was derived from this process by a unique patented procedure. As time passed and the need arose, E & C's product line expanded to include over 50 different industrial chemicals.  These products, both dry and liquid, are available for distribution by van or tanker truck.  The total assets of the division were purchased in September 1993 by Chris Hatton and the late Al Berry and incorporated thereafter as E & C Chemicals, Inc.
